Recently, SCIO of the United States announced the preparation of pink synthetic diamond, which has been certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI) and can be compared with natural diamonds.

The pink diamond grown by SCIO has 3-5 carats, and the original diamond is further finished by cutting and polishing by RD. The finished diamonds are sold at 0.5-2 carats or more. SCIO President Gerald McGuire said: SCIO has complete production technology and equipment, and the successful preparation of pink diamonds provides more choices for consumers with increasingly diverse needs in the market.

Neil Koppel, president of RD, added that natural color diamonds are increasingly scarce and the cost of preparation is very high. The superior cutting, polishing and finishing processes allow the production of synthetic diamonds in the laboratory to be quantified and cost more than natural diamonds.

SCIO has been a leader in the field of synthetic diamonds with advanced CVD manufacturing processes. Laboratory synthetic diamonds and natural diamonds are basically similar in chemical, physical and optical terms. The only difference is that laboratory synthetic diamond can be grown in a few weeks, while natural diamonds require between 1 billion and 3 billion years.
