The processing of high-precision annular thin-walled parts has always been a problem in machining. In the manufacture of aero-engines, there are many processing of annular thin-walled parts. The solution to the processing methods of this type of parts reflects the level of mechanical manufacturing in a country from one side. This paper attempts to explore a method for machining high-precision thin-walled ring parts by an example—three-point support method.
