Dubai Tower Profile:

The Burj Dubai, also known as the Dubai Tower or the Bis Burj Dubai, is a skyscraper under construction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It started on September 21, 2004 and is currently the tallest building and building in the world. In order to prevent competitors from surpassing, the final height of the Burj Dubai has not been announced. According to the contractor’s plan, the height is recommended to be 818 meters (2,684 feet), and the usable floors are approximately 160 to 170 floors. However, from the planned map of the elevator configuration on the official website, the number of floors may reach 189-195 floors.

In addition, glass curtains have been installed since the beginning of 2007, and metal facades were also installed in June 2007. The Dubai Tower, currently being built in the United Arab Emirates, has reached a height of more than 700 meters by the end of September 2008. The height and number of floors have surpassed Taipei's 101 building, officially becoming the world's tallest building. The completion of this $1 billion construction will be delayed from the originally scheduled end of 2008 to September 2009.

The project was designed by Adrian Smith, the American architect of the Chicago American company, and Samsung SA is responsible for implementation. The architectural design uses a challenging monolithic structure consisting of a single, tubular multi-tower with a space-age style and a geometric pattern of Islamic architectural style around the base—a six-petal desert flower. . The final height of this comprehensive building, which will integrate living and shopping, will reach 700 meters. Dubai Tower plus surrounding supporting projects have a total investment of more than 2 billion U.S. dollars. Below the 37th floor of the Burj Khalifa is a hotel, 45th to 108th floors as apartments. The 123rd floor will be a viewing platform, standing above it and overlooking the entire city of Dubai. There are 1000 luxury apartments in the building. The surrounding supporting projects include the Old City, Dubai MALL and supporting hotels, residences, apartments, business centers and other projects.

The "Dubai Tower" has been built since 2004 and its contractor, the Emaar Group, has remained mysterious and has not revealed any plans for construction. According to the CTBUH's international guidelines, whether it is the height of the building structure, the height of the top floor, the height of the building roof, or the height of an antenna or a flagpole, the "Dubai Tower" after its completion can be described as Unparalleled.

The Burj Khalifa is not only highly astounding, but it is also full of construction materials and equipment. The Dubai Tower will use a total of 330,000 cubic meters of concrete, 39,000 tons of steel and 142,000 square meters of glass. The building is so high, of course, that advanced transportation equipment is needed. There are 56 lifts in the building, with speeds of up to 10 meters per second. There are also double-decker sightseeing lifts that can carry up to 42 people at a time.

In addition, the "Dubai Tower" also opened a new page for building technology. In order to consolidate the structure of the building, the building has now used more than 310,000 cubic meters of reinforced concrete and 62,000 tons of reinforced steel, and it is also unprecedented in the vertical pumping of concrete more than 460 meters, breaking the 448 building in Taipei 101 Rice record.

The “Dubai Tower” alone costs at least US$1 billion to build the building itself. It does not include construction costs for its large shopping malls, lakes and shorter towers. In order to build the "Dubai Tower," about 4,000 workers and 100 cranes were used. After its completion, it is not only the world's tallest building, but also the world's tallest building. The current world's tallest building is the 553-meter-high TV station in Toronto, Canada.

After the completion of the "Dubai Tower" may be more than 160 layers, and has 56 elevators, speeds up to 18 meters per second, it will be the world's fastest and the longest running distance of the elevator. Narman Atala, sales manager of Alma Real Estate, said: “This design will reach the peak that technology can achieve. Before that, no building can be built that high. People have to develop to adapt to this height. New elevator." Source: China Aluminum

Other facilities within the “Dubai Tower” such as luxury apartments, clothing stores, swimming pools, spa clubs, exclusive personal business suites, and viewing platforms on the 124th floor overlooking Dubai are all available, while the Italian fashion designer George Armani will also build the first Armani Hotel in the building. This hotel will become the flagship store of Armani Hotel's global chain. All interior decoration and furniture design will follow the Armani brand style.

Armani Hotel includes 175 VIP rooms and suites, in addition to restaurants, hot springs, etc., covering a total of 40,000 square meters. Next to the hotel there are 144 luxury residential apartments, from the furniture to all other products designed by Armani personally.
