Jiangsu enters photovoltaic self-generation grid-connected era

As the Changzhou Jiaxun 1.57 MW photovoltaic power generation project was formally accepted according to the State Grid Corporation's regulations on distributed photovoltaic power generation grid-connected management, it marked that the small- and medium-sized photovoltaic power generation projects in Jiangsu Province have officially entered the era of free grid connection.

At the end of last year, Changzhou Jiaxun Optoelectronics Industry Development Co., Ltd. applied to Changzhou Power Supply Company for the application of photovoltaic power generation and grid connection. After receiving the application, Changzhou Power Supply Company completed the preparation of the access plan in only 4 days.

Before the customer's internal design and construction, Changzhou Power Supply Company found that the three 400V grid-connected switches did not meet the requirements of the State Grid Corporation's code. The customer's grid-connected switch must meet the voltage-lost tripping function before it can be connected to the network. Otherwise, the line fails. Inverters that do not trip due to a power failure will cause power to be reversed, causing a great safety accident. Under the guidance of technical staff of Changzhou Power Supply Company, the customer began to reform it without stopping. Such an internal design review allows customers to take detours, shorten the time for network connection, and eliminate safety hazards earlier. To this end, Changzhou company also listed the internal design review before construction as a "work experience."

The preparation of a tripartite purchase and sale of electricity contracts is another problem because the superior has no ready-made template for reference. The drafting of this contract can be said to be a pioneering work for photovoltaic grid-connected power generation, and it is necessary to define the legal responsibilities in various aspects. Under the guidance of the provincial company, Changzhou Power Supply Company, in conjunction with the existing power-related laws and regulations, began to work out a contract for itself and quickly took out a tripartite purchase and sale of electricity contracts with more than 20 pages of paper.

The success of the first company's grid-connected business also brought hope to other companies. At present, eight photovoltaic companies have applied for a grid-connected business. The estimated total installed capacity is approximately 27,000 kilowatts.
