Another example is the “cold squatting†link, which uses multi-station cold-sleeve equipment such as two-mode four-stroke, three-mode three-punch and five-mode five-punch, which can reduce the subsequent processing steps and ensure the consistency of product size. Another example is the “heat treatment†process, which uses carbonitriding technology. This is because the special screws for sewing machines require high hardness, high wear resistance, high impact toughness and fatigue strength. Conventional heat treatment is a carburizing process.
