1. Check the camera

If there is no problem with the camera on site, the next step is to troubleshoot the cable. The easiest way is to measure the continuity of the signal line. An ordinary multimeter can accomplish this task. At the same time, with a multimeter, you can also check whether the power supply of the camera meets the requirements.

Now, the monitoring system is changing from the analog signal system to the digital signal system. Both the video signal and the control signal will be transmitted on the data cable. In this case, the transmission cable must meet the Ethernet physical layer termination requirements, and not just meet the conduction can achieve normal communication. 3. Monitor terminal check

If there is no abnormality in the first two links and there are still no images on the monitor, you need to check whether the problem is on the monitor itself. Accessing standard video color bar signals is the quickest way to check monitor performance. It should be noted that the video signal is divided into the NTSC system and the PAL system. If the monitor does not have an automatic identification function, it must be set manually to match the system or signal generator signal.
