1. Preparation before starting up
1.1 irrigation pump
Note: Because the screw pump (especially the three-screw pump with built-in bearings) does not allow dry running! So for the first time, you must fill the pump with media.
Before starting the machine , if the medium used for the pump test (refer to the performance test report of Huangshan Aiken Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. ) is not compatible with the pumping medium chemistry, the operator should carefully and thoroughly clean the pump. The pump is pumped through the pump body hole or the outlet pipe, and should be immersed in the medium to immerse and discharge the air. The filling height must ensure that the suction side has sufficient coverage before and during operation of the pump.
After the pump has been left for a long time, the medium in the pump will evaporate, or after the repair, the pumping process should be repeated.
1.2 rotation direction control
The direction of rotation of the drive motor should be the same as the direction of the arrow on the pump. The direction of rotation can be checked by turning on the motor at the inlet and outlet valves. If the steering is wrong, the pump has no suction, which will damage the pump. The direction of rotation of the three-phase motor can be changed by switching any two phases of the power supply.
1.3 Switch on all auxiliary devices
Before the pump is turned on, if the pump has some attachments, all heating/cooling/rinsing/pressure relief systems must be put into operation.
Note: Ensure that the flow/temperature/pressure is consistent with the order data sheet or follow the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Three screw pump start
2.1 start
Before starting, fully open all switching devices on the suction and pressure sides of the pump.
The pump with built-in safety valve, the general safety valve is set to the working pressure +10%, and the HSHD series safety valve is designed and executed according to user requirements. A safety valve must be installed as long as there is a shut-off valve in the pressure line or the possibility of blockage and the pressure rises.
At start-up, the exhaust valve installed on the outlet side of the system must be opened until the air on the suction side of the pump is exhausted, and the valve can be closed if any liquid emerges from it. Because the pump is self-priming, it can be automatically vented without back pressure.
Check the liquid level in the reservoir. When the system is running, the liquid level should not be lower than the defined minimum value, otherwise it should be added to the required amount.
3. Three screw pump stop
Turn off the motor and make sure the pump stops smoothly.
If a check valve is installed in the outlet pipe, the shut-off valve can be kept open; the phase reaction is closed.
Stop associated attachments (eg heating/cooling/flushing systems, etc.).
