At the same time, with the country's policy of stimulating domestic demand, the demand for replacement of inland ships is released, and international trade is further warming up. As a manufacturing power, China's ship industry is optimistic. Driven by various factors, the shipbuilding industry will continue to maintain rapid growth.

Ship welding technology is one of the key technologies in China's modern shipbuilding mode. Improving production efficiency, shortening shipbuilding cycle, reducing manufacturing costs and improving manufacturing quality are the eternal themes of the entire shipbuilding industry. The welding process plays an important role in the whole ship manufacturing process. The ship welding time accounts for about 40% of the total hull manufacturing time, and the welding cost accounts for 30-50% of the total hull manufacturing cost. It can be seen that the welding and cutting equipment is in the shipbuilding industry. The importance of it.

Hongmei Economic Information Consulting Co., Ltd. conducted market research on welding and cutting equipment in the second half of 2009. The ship industry has been a key application industry for welding and cutting equipment. Seventeen companies have been sampled in the shipbuilding industry, including ocean-going vessels. Large-scale shipbuilding enterprises, such as Dalian Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, and enterprises mainly based on inland river vessels, such as Wuhu Xinlian Shipyard.

In the statistics on the holdings of 17 shipping companies, the average number of welding and cutting equipment owned by shipbuilding enterprises reached 1,468, of which 441 were inverting welding and cutting equipment, and 1,027 were traditional welding and cutting equipment. The maximum possession amount is about 3,000 units, which is Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. Compared with other industries, such as steel structure, general machinery, rail vehicles, and construction engineering, the shipbuilding industry has the highest level of possession, and is the industry with the most concentrated demand for welders in various industries.

In the observation of the quantity of purchases, in 2009, 94% of the shipping companies purchased welding and cutting equipment, and the average purchase price was 15,543 yuan/set. These companies purchased an average of 135 welding and cutting equipment, including 71 inverter welding equipment and 64 conventional welding and cutting equipment. The proportion of inverters in new procurement is much higher than the proportion of inverters in the quantity of possession. The significant difference between these two proportions reflects the broad application prospect of inverter welding and cutting equipment in the shipbuilding industry. Traditional models are the trend of future development.

Among the companies visited, 65% of the companies believe that inverter welding and cutting equipment will further replace traditional welding and cutting equipment, and most enterprises believe that the proportion of inverter welding and cutting equipment exceeds that of traditional equipment. After calculation, the proportion of inverter welding equipment in welding and cutting equipment will increase to 86% in 9-10 years. The main reason for leading this trend is that the inverter welding and cutting equipment is small in size and easy to handle; the energy-saving and high-efficiency features are in line with national policies. Most of the users surveyed have recognized the inverter welding and cutting equipment technology to meet the needs and development trends of users. It is considered that the inverter welding and cutting equipment is energy-saving, energy-saving and easy to work in the field.

In terms of automation and mechanization level, the shipbuilding industry is relatively high, and CO2 gas shielded welding technology has become a mature process technology in the shipbuilding industry. With the development of China's shipbuilding industry and the continuous improvement of the manufacturing level, the welding equipment industry will be further improved in adapting to the use requirements. The proportion of inverter welding and cutting equipment will increase year by year and reach the main position; the proportion of various welding process structures will also be In the direction of more energy-saving, clean and efficient, the proportion of gas-fired welding will be further expanded.
