How to correctly select electromagnetic flowmeter

The electromagnetic flowmeter is designed according to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction and is used for liquid flow measurement. The measured fluid must be a conductive liquid or slurry with a conductivity of not less than 5 μS/cm. The correct choice of the type of electromagnetic flowmeter can better meet the needs of the site.

The correct selection is inseparable from the communication between the user and the manufacturer, so pay attention to the following aspects before selecting the model:

(1) Instrument application;

(2) Understand the name and composition of the liquid to be tested. This parameter determines the electrode material and lining material of the electromagnetic flowmeter;

(3) the flow rate of the fluid to be measured;

(4) The conductivity of the liquid to be tested shall not be less than 5 μS/cm, otherwise the electromagnetic flowmeter instrument shall not be used;

(5) The user must also provide the pipe diameter, medium temperature and pressure, and protection level parameters for determining the size of the caliber, installation method, etc.

(6) Grounding method, with grounding ring and grounding electrode, used for anti-interference measures;

(7) Understand whether there is a negative pressure condition.
