Because of the large amount of potassium carbonate, the plant ash is the only alkaline potassium fertilizer in the farmyard manure. Human excrement and manure are all acidic organic fertilizers, so the two meet, acid-base neutralization, and a large loss of nutrients. According to the measurement, after the plant ash and human excrement were mixed at a ratio of 1:1.5 , the nitrogen loss was about 27.4% after storage for 10 days, and the nitrogen loss during storage for about three months was about 85.9% . Therefore, in the work of composting and fertilizing, it is necessary to vigorously promote the monocropping of plant ash, single storage, single use, and avoid dumping the ash into organic fertilizer.
